The Oakwood School seeks to instill in its students the strength of character, the creativity, and the wisdom to make a difference in the world.

The Oakwood School, located in Greenville, NC, is a college preparatory, independent school serving students in grades Pre-k -12. The Oakwood curriculum is unified, rigorous, and inquiry-based and as such, prepares its students for the challenging dynamic of the 21st Century. Our curriculum supports a strong foundation in skills, knowledge, and competencies so that every child can successfully navigate our complex and exciting world. We strive to create lifelong learners: students who love to learn, desire to achieve, and take pride in their accomplishments. We also strive to develop students of character who are honest, respectful, and responsible.
